Dear ICVA members,

Further to the recent message we sent about Lewis Sida travelling to Sudan (where he is still meeting with people), we would like to inform you that the other consultant working on the ICVA/SCHR project on the Red Cross/NGO Code of Conduct at 10, Sean Lowrie, will be travelling to AFGHANISTAN for the third field trip later this week. He will be hoping to meet with you/your colleagues from SUNDAY 22 AUGUST to SATURDAY 28 AUGUST.

If you could please encourage your colleagues in Kabul to take some time to meet with Sean to discuss the Red Cross/NGO Code of Conduct over the next week, it would be greatly appreciated. The field visits will play an essential role in making the commentary a useful tool for humanitarian workers.

You can contact Sean directly (cc'ed on this message). Once he leaves for Afghanistan (on Saturday), it may be easier to contact Sean through the CARE Assistant Country Director, Michell Kendall, as CARE is facilitating Sean's trip.
