Dear ICVA members,

Further to the update that we sent out on 27 July about the ICVA/SCHR project on the Red Cross at 10, please note that Lewis Sida is currently en route to Sudan for the second field trip. He will arrive in Khartoum tomorrow and Save the Children (US) is facilitating his logistics for this trip so their office will know where to find him.

If you could please encourage your colleagues in Khartoum to take some time to meet with Lewis to discuss the Red Cross/NGO Code of Conduct over the next week, it would be greatly appreciated. The field visits will play an essential role in making the commentary a useful tool for humanitarian workers.

Should you have any questions related to the project, please do not hesitate to contact us at the ICVA Secretariat. Lewis should be able to access his e-mail and he is cc'ed on this message.
