Investigating Women's Rights Violations in Armed Conflicts,

Amnesty International and Rights and Democracy (International Centre for Human Rights and Democracy), 2001.

This is a useful, practical guide to investigating women's rights violations through a gender-sensitive approach to research. It suggests ways to address specific challenges faced by women's rights workers. The manual would be useful to human rights activists, humanitarian relief NGOs, UN and governmental agencies who work to collect information on violence against women. The publication is small and spiral-bound, making it easy to carry in the field.
