The Refugee Experience: Psychosocial Training Module

Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford.

This 30-hour psychosocial training module for humanitarian assistance workers includes valuable information on psychological protection and the psychosocial effects of conflict and forced migration. Topics include gender and forced migration, sexual violence, child rights (including discussion of separation, exploitation, child soldiers, etc.)The programme emphasizes the importance of cultural issues in the design of psychosocial programmes.
